Loose-fill fiberglass insulation is little bit different from the other insulation types. Its form is produced from granule or shreds and together they form as some kind of fluffy material. Loose-fill fiberglass insulation suits for difficult spaces to install.
There are molted glasses into fibers and its production is a basically melting glass in high temperature and mixing it to fibers.
There are slight problem also with loose-fill fiberglass insulation, because it’s not very suitable for extreme situations where there are huge temperature difference. In that case there is reducing of R-value up to 50 percent. |
